Logotype design for the Danish Film Magazine Ekko

Since 2000 the Danish Film Magazine Ekko has undergone great transformation. Starting out as an academic paper on media in general – it now stands as the one and only magazine on film and film culture in Denmark. Editor Claus Christensen has with a sense of timing, knowledge and sensibility created a social space for the publication. During its transition from small publication to magazine, the studio was invited to provide ekko with a new logotype that would be subsequently used on the forthcoming issues of the magazine. The resulting logo is an obvious play on the meaning of the word itself.
