Redesign of the visual identity and layout of the Danish film magazine Ekko

Since 2000 the Danish Film Magazine Ekko has undergone great transformation. Starting out as an academic paper on media in general – it now stands as the one and only magazine on film and film culture in Denmark. Editor Claus Christensen has with a sense of timing, knowledge and sensibility created a social space for the publication. The studio designed the first eight issues of the magazine, after which the magazine received an alternate visual styling from another design company, with several issues being published. In 2009 ekko was returned to the studio for a redesign, refinement, and a reassessment of the art direction. This resulted in ensuring a continuously strong and coherent look for ekko in the future. The studio now oversees the design of each issue and produces five issues a year.

Format: 225 x 312 mm, soft cover, offset.
