Design for 'Smack Bang i Folkets Hamn' on the harbour of Helsingborg, Sweden.

'Smack Bang' was a one-day event and cultural experiment in parts of the harbour. The event offered a number of performances, exhibitions, films and gastronomical experiences that used the given environment with a spontaneous, activistic attitude. The aim was to open up and re-activate abandoned and forgotten urban areas and bring in culture and art for the public. To reflect this act of giving the harbour to the citizens, we named the area 'Folkets Hamn' – 'The People's Harbour'.

'Smack Bang' was initiated by the H+ project, a large scale urban renewal plan for the city of Helsingborg.
