Don's Plum is a low-budget black and white drama film directed by R. D. Robb and featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, Kevin Connolly and Tobey Maguire. The film portrays a group of friends that meet up every Saturday to hang out in a Los Angeles diner.
Don´s Plum was filmed in 1995–96. It was later agreed that the film would be released outside the US and Canada only. It premiered on February 10, 2001, in Berlin, Germany. The danish film production company Zentropa became part of the film, handling the postproduction and distribution of Don´s Plum.
The title sequences were constructed following a simple principle. Every name appeared first by vowels alone and then the consonants were added.
